After a three-year absence, football is again being played at Camerton Rec, and what a great sight it was last Saturday, on a lovely sunny day.
Thanks must go to Mr Smith, who cut the grass to make the surface great for playing good football – the pitch was in tip-top condition for the first game.
A big crowd made the atmosphere absolutely great, and tea and coffee were supplied by Liz at half-time, which went down very well.
Peasedown Albion, who will be playing their home games at Camerton this season as their ground is having a makeover, played Purnell Sports in a friendly game.
Both teams worked hard throughout the game, with Peasedown scoring two late goals to win 4-2.
