Peasedown Albion Over-50s Walking Football Team entertained Cheddar on Wednesday, 14th July.
Both teams started slowly, but once Peasedown got into their stride they dominated the first half and finished 2–0 up with goals from John Woodland and Tony
Anstice.
In the second half, Cheddar upped their game with some slick passing to score a brilliant goal. An Ali Diegutis goal then put the home side 3–1 up until an unlucky own goal by Cheddar made it 4–1.
Everyone had a thoroughly good night with food laid on by The Ashes Bar. New players always welcome – both men and women.
