Last season’s Premier League Champions, Coleford, scored eight at home against Chard United in the Somerset County Junior Cup, with goals coming from Jack Davis (2), Dan Reynolds, Oliver Chapman, Luke Litterick, Charlie Walton, Lance Cray and Mac Fisher.
Other Mid-Somerset teams through to the next round are Chilcompton Reserves, Clutton Reserves, Frome Collegians, Radstock A and Westfield Reserves.
In the Paulton Hospital Cup, Peasedown Albion at home won 10–2 against Westfield A and Victoria scored eight away to Westhill Sports.
In the Premier League, Interhound go back to the top of the league, with a good 4–1 home win against Wells A and Temple Cloud, who won their first league game at home, 4–1 to Welton Arsenal.
Baltonsborough go top of the First Division by beating Meadow Rangers 11–2. Chew Magna Reserves had a good away win at Belrose 1–0 and Pilton beat High Littleton at home, 1–0.
The Second Division have new leaders with Somer Valley beating the in-form Saltford Reserves, 2–1. They go to the top with goals from Paul Dinsdale and Martin Avis. Bath Villa remain in second place, winning 5–1 at home to Westhill Reserves; Evercreech fought out a hard match at home to beat Coleford Reserves, 3–2, Pensford won their first league game of the season at home against Glastonbury Reserves, 6–2, and Frome Town Sports Reserves beat Mells at home, 3–0.
Peasedown Albion Reserves, with Brad Gould getting two goals, stay top of Division Three, scraping through 2–1 against Purnell A. Timsbury Reserves’ improvement continues with a good 1–1 draw away to unbeaten Chilcompton United, Old Crown Weston move into second place in the league, with a tough win away to Chilcompton A, 2–1 and Farrington Reserves lost their first league match home to Wessex, 2–1.
