WELTON Rovers will be looking to bounce back after their humiliating defeat by Longwell Green Sports when they play at home to Calne Town in the first division of the Jewson Western League on Saturday, October 10 (3p.m.).
Rovers crashed 13-0 at Longwell in midweek, conceding eight goals in the second half.
It means they still have no points after 13 matches and are four points adrift at the bottom of the table with a deficit of minus 44 goals.
Calne, however, have themselves not made that good a start to the season. They are third from bottom, having won only three of their 12 matches.
AEK Boco top the table on goal difference from Avonmouth who have played two more games than their rivals.
AEK Boco are home to fourth-placed Nailsea United while Avonmouth are involved in FA Vase action away to Amesbury Town.
Saturday’s fixtures: Mendip Broadwalk v Odd Down (Bath), AEK Boco v Nailsea United, Almondsbury v Cadbury Heath, Bristol Telephones v Wincanton Town, Keynsham Town v Bitton, Oldland Abbotonians v Shirehampton, Warminster Town v Radstock Town, Welton Rovers v Calne Town.
