The Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club ended one of their most successful season of social matches with another convincing win at home to Folke.

Their 4.5-0.5 victory completed the double over their visitors and the away trip to Cannington is the only defeat they have suffered.

The partnership of Nick Foxwell and Mike Weeks has been particularly productive and the two of them maintained their unbeaten record with a resounding 7&6 win.

The Coleford pairing of Graham Edgell and Bob Smith were 4&2 winners, Chris Appleton and Frank Dance won 3&2 and acting captain Alan Jones and his partner Allen Cheney finished one up. Mike Ricketts and Frank Reeves ended up all square in their encounter.

The Seniors Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Golf Day again proved a big success and £328 was raised for the charity. Nick Foxwell (pictured) was again in top form winning the event with an excellent forty three points with Rex Wyatt just one point behind.
