What a day of golf, with high winds causing problems on a shortened course of twelve holes for the Farrington Park Seniors’ Four Ball Better Ball competition.

Definitely the day for a Tiger Woods’ ‘stinger’ shot, keeping the ball flight low. However, considering the weather conditions, some amazing scoring was achieved.

In third place, the pairing of Alan Taylor and Chris Liberty, with 26 points, were beaten on countback by Pete Maule and Philip Michael, who took second place. The score of the day came from the partnership of Barry Hall and Roger Stone, who accumulated an excellent score of 28 points.

Final placing: 1st B. Hall & R. Stone 28 points, 2nd P. Maule & P. Michael 26 points, 3rd A. Taylor & C. liberty 26 points, 4th M. Bradbury & S. Park 25 points, 5th G. Clare & R. Wilkinson 25 points, 5th S. Symonds & M. Astle 25 points.
