Wells Seniors started their season away at Weston-super-Mare where the course was in excellent condition, considering the poor weather beforehand.
A well contested match ended all square, with the successful Wells pairs being Peter Leverick/Ian Mills, David Couzens/Bill O’Callaghan and Andrew Boatswain/John Watson. Ken Ford and David Flinders secured a half.
The second leg of our Simulator Winter League saw some excellent scores posted, playing the front nine at Emirates, the same course the European tour tackled last month.
The results were: 1st Charlie Lewis, 2nd Grant Rogers, 3rd Paul Cullen. The next round is the Front Nine at the scenic Teton Pines in Jackson, Wyoming and all are welcome to play.
