Another delay on Brexit and a General Election due on 12th December – in the words of Brenda from Bristol: “You’re joking; not another one!” Thankfully, Bonfire Night passed reasonably quietly. There will be enough fireworks in the weeks to come from our esteemed leaders in Government.

A rather dull morning greeted Farrington Seniors for their playing of a Texas Scramble. The course was in great condition with just one temporary green on the fifth. No great shakes considering other courses in the county having seventeen temporary greens! Once again, well done to our greenkeeping staff who have the course looking so good, which is no easy task at this time of the year – just check your own back gardens!

Don’t forget, 13th November will be a non-qualifying Stableford competition and not a Tennessee Waltz, as previously displayed.
