MENDIP Golf Club's Seniors Rosebowl team lost in the semi finals to their Minehead counterparts 4-1 with the only win coming from Gary Quin and Simon Wynn.

The Friendly team halved their inter-club match with Wells 3-3 with wins coming from Roland Greenway/Robert Miller, Micheal O’Haire/David Judge and Colin Wiltshire/James Boyce.

However, they then went on to beat Yeovil 5-1 with wins from Paul Morgan/David Judge, Richard White/Gareth Collier, Paul Wood/Martyn Russell, Phil Bissett/Kevin Carmody and with halves from Ken Langridge/Selwyn Rees and Phil Brocks/David Pilbeam.

And finally the Mixed team pulled off a resounding win over Long Ashton 5½-½, wins coming from Rob & Sue Needham, Clive Copp & Pippa Brown, Rob & Elaine Richardson, David & Lynn Cox and Peter and Allison Rumming and with a half coming from David & Sue Forshaw. It was a splendid victory.
