The destination of the last major trophy to be won in 2016 in the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club has been settled in emphatic style.
The trio of Cyril Blacker, Denis White and Mike Ricketts finished eight points clear of the field to lift the Vic South Trophy in the Winter Bowmaker. Their total of 87 points saw them convincing winners.
In second place came Brian Phelps, John Bendle and Bob Smith, whose total of 79 points helped them beat third placed Barry Dugmore, Bill Lester and Arthur Bellinger on countback.
