There was a close finish to the Roger Tabb Winter Foursomes Cup in the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club with Cyril Blacker and Graham Edgell taking the honours with a nett 63.
They edged out the strong pairing of Phil Moody and Pat Cray who had a nett 64. A further five shots back in third place with 69 were the Bath pairing of Terry Button and Arthur Bellinger.
Two days later, Cray completed a successful week when he won the Eric James Bogey Competition with + 5. In second place was Henry Thomas with +4. Denis White was third with +3.
