Torrential rain had battered the course for the previous 72 hours, but even after this onslaught, puddles were few and far between.
Thankfully, at this time of the year, the Farrington Seniors only play non-qualifying Stablefords. Naturally, with little or no run on the ball, those well hit shots were still annoyingly landing short. There are much more important things to worry about – the NHS, state visits and Brexit to name just a few!
