Katrina Foote, Ladies Captain, talked through the highlights of the year and presented the ladies with the trophies at the 2022 AGM. Katrina then handed over to Gwyn Macdonald who is Captain for 2023. Gwyn is looking forward to leading and growing Wells ladies section.

The Seniors held their annual presentation dinner in the clubhouse which was attended by 74 players and partners. This was the final event for outgoing Seniors’ Captain, Phil Spring, who has had a very successful year. At the presentation after the dinner, mention was made of Malcolm Terry who won both the net and gross cups at the Seniors Championship held in July, a tremendous achievement. Colin Webber won the summer Jones Cup whilst Ian Nicol and Phil Slater were victorious in the Presidents Cup. Recognition was given to the seniors team for winning the Somerset Seniors Bowl for the 3rd time in 4 years, which is an impressive achievement.
