Despite the relentless rain which has once again disrupted golf at Mendip, some competitive golf has been possible.
The Mens Mendacious Bowmaker attracted 105 entrants and resulted in many new names at the top of the leaderboard. Winning with 83 points were Stuart Crane/Daniel Cottle/Thomas Webb.
The Pro Shop Nearest the Pin competition was won by Phil Bendall with Kevin Keene 2nd.
The Seniors Captain Robert Miller was delighted to be able to announce that due to everyone’s generosity, £7,200 had been raised for his charity, Pancreatic Cancer UK. The Seniors Charity Day and Rob’s sponsored 58-kilometre trek on the Dorset Coastal Path helped to raise said funds. Well done Rob!
