Paulton Rovers were without a game last weekend, due to the rearrangement by the Southern League of the planned local derby against Frome Town.

Initially, this was to be played next Tuesday, 3rd March, but will now take place at Winterfield Road on Tuesday, 24th March, kick-off at 7.30 p.m.

On Tuesday, as The Journal went to press, Rovers played Bath City at Twerton Park in the quarter-final of the Somerset Premier Cup.

This Saturday, 28th February, Rovers boss, Nick Bunyard, hopes his side can maintain their seven-match unbeaten run in the Evostik Southern League Premier Division which sees them in eleventh place as they travel to Buckinghamshire to take on relegation-threatened Burnham, kick-off at 3 p.m.

The coach will depart the club at 10.45 a.m. sharp (but check the club's website: http://www.paultonroversfc.co.uk">www.paultonroversfc.co.uk for any updates. Supporters wishing to travel should add their name to the list in the clubhouse.

The Youth Team have a busy week. They were due at Brislington on Tuesday and will play them again, this time at home on Thursday, 5th March. On Thursday, the Under-18's welcome Keynsham Town. Both games kick off at 7.30 p.m.

The Sunday XI, current leaders of the Bath and District Sunday League Division Five, were due to play one of their main rivals, 'A Little Difference FC', in the Second Round of the Secretary's Cup, but this was posponed at the weekend because of a frozen pitch. This Sunday, the cup game may be rearranged. At present, it is back to league action, away to Peasedown Park Rangers, kick-off at 10.30 a.m.
