Over 100 people crammed into Welton Rovers last Friday evening to listen to Liverpool legend, Jan Molby.

Molby started his career at Kolding, moving to Ajax, of Amsterdam, and then onto Liverpool in 1984. He won numerous honours whilst at Liverpool, including three league titles and three FA Cups. Molby spoke for 45 minutes, recounting a variety of stories and was followed by comedian, John Lory, and a sporting memorabilia auction.

The event was supported by a range of local businesses, including Aqua Sulis Financial Management, Barons, Lane Air, King Watkins, London & Country and PH Roofing. Catering was provided by Mandy's Kitchen.

Stuart Rogers was thrilled with the evening. "Jan was just fantastic. We've had a huge amount of positive feedback and we think we've raised a very healthy sum for our Supporters Club. The support from the local businesses was superb and we hope that they will continue to support the club. We will be planning next year's dinner over the coming weeks and would be keen to hear suggestions."
