Welton Rovers have announced their pre-season friendly schedule for the coming month. The newly-promoted Midsomer Norton side will prepare for life back in the Toolstation Premier Division, with matches against two Southern League teams in Mangotsfield United and Larkhall Athletic.
The final First Team friendly fixture at West Clewes on Friday, 31st July against Larkhall will also see the club host a Pre-Season Party, for supporters and players of the First Team, Reserves, A Team and Under 18s, to come together to socialise before the serious business of the league campaign begins.
Welton Rovers Manager, Nick Beaverstock, was excited to start the new season, saying: "Last season the lads worked their socks off and earned the right to play in the Premier Division. Now it's time for us to prove this is where this club belongs to be. We've got a good mix of friendlies lined up, which will allow us to see how the squad can work together and also test us in the big fixtures against Southern League opponents."
