Timsbury Athletic Under-fourteens hope to cap a great season when they compete for the Somerset County Lewin Cup at Street Football Club on Sunday, 19th May at 2.30 p.m. The talented side, who are also competing for the Under-fourteens league title in the Midsomer Norton and District Youth League, have claimed a number of notable scalps on their way to the county final.
Along the way, they have accounted for both of last year's finalists, Wells City and Imperial Saints, and have also beaten Team Bath Arsenal, Nether Stowey and Tone Youth.
The team is managed by Clive Curtis and Phil Clark and has been sponsored by Jason Cruse of R&A Fibreglass. Clive Curtis said: "We are naturally proud of the progress the team has made this season and it is no mean feat to have reached a county final. We appreciate the support of Jason Cruse of R&A Fibreglass and all others who have backed the team throughout the season."
