A great time to join U3A for a pinch of coffee

Norton Radstock u3a will continue to hold its monthly meeting and coffee morning for members enjoyment. On Monday 8th August we welcome Roger Burfit who will talk about the Somerset and Dorset Heritage Railway which is as members will know an increasing part of Midsomer Norton Visitor attractions. Roger will update members on the progress of the railway, and speak about the future plans and hopes for the Heritage Railway in the years ahead.

Owing to the Bank Holiday, the coffee morning will be held a week earlier than usual on the 22nd of August.

Coffee Mornings now start at 10.30 a.m, and provide a good time to catch up with news and to just enjoy other members’ company.

On Wednesday, 31st August the u3a will again visit Bath Racecourse for the afternoon race meeting. The coach will leave South Road at 12 noon with the first race being at 2.15pm. After racing we shall take the usual after race meal which on this occasion will be at the Old Down Inn at Emborough.
