Chris James and Tony Cooper, members of Connaught Lodge of Freemasons, based in Midsomer Norton, recently presented a ‘Hug of Teddy Bears’ to Sister Julie Davies and Sister Karen Hunt of the Minor Injury Unit at Paulton Hospital.

The Teddies were the result of generous donations given by members of the public to Connaught Lodge’s ‘Teddies for Loving Care’, an initiative set up by the Freemasons, to supply local hospitals with cuddly bears to give to distressed children.

Over a million bears have so far been donated throughout the country.

The Connaught Lodge is always looking to support local charities, however small, and worthwhile causes. For more information, email Tony at: [email protected]
