I’m getting very excited about the opening of the Dorothy House Hospice Furniture shop in Midsomer Norton on Thursday, 10th August.

As a volunteer in the current Dorothy House shop, (19A Midsomer Norton) I am also going to do a shift a week in the new shop, just over the road (where McColl’s used to be).

We are so lucky to have the support of volunteers, doners, customers and other hidden supporters of this great charity.

Dorothy House has furniture shops in other towns in Wiltshire and B&NES and provides a great way to recycle furniture, either by donation or purchasing. Quality is something we are serious about.

The other thing I am very serious about is volunteering, so if you would like to learn more about volunteering with us, please contact the current shop for information, or look out for some of the “advanced party” who will be positioned by the new shop, keen to share the benefits of volunteering; it really does feed the soul. Come and see us.
