Trinity Methodist Church
We welcomed Rev John Hayes to lead morning worship on Sunday, October 12.
Two of the scripture readings told of people being cured of leprosy through faith. John introduced a new chorus, which he accompanied on his guitar, entitled “Wash Me Clean.” It was a wonderful and thoughtful service.
Saturday coffee from 10am will be a bacon buttie morning. Our Christmas stall will be up and ready with lots of cards, gifts, decorations, chocolate-filled stockings and homemade Christmas puddings.

Norton Down Methodist Church
We have been very busy at Norton Down Methodist Church over the past few weeks.
We joined in with the Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising approximately £300 for cancer care. As well as raising our voices to celebrate Harvest, we auctioned all the fresh produce donated to support our organ fund, and gave all the tinned and packaged goods to Julian House to help with their project supporting the homeless and those in need of extra help.
Our worship has been led by our Minister, Rev Andrew Prout, and by Jacqui Cobb. Our next morning service will be led by Claire Laudica, commencing at 10.30am. Coffee, tea, and biscuits are available on Wednesday mornings from 10.30am, except on October 29 when we will be having an away day.
Please come and join us — we will be very pleased to see you, either on a Sunday or a Wednesday, or perhaps both.
Tabor Independent Methodist Church
Tabor recently celebrated harvest with a well-attended service led by Mrs Margaret West. Paulton Concert Band, under their new conductor Andrew, ably accompanied the hymns and performed several musical pieces.
Non-perishable items were donated to the Somer Valley Foodbank, while perishable goods were sold, with proceeds going to UNICEF. Everyone enjoyed a welcome cup of tea or coffee with light refreshments after the service.
The next service will take place on Sunday, October 26, at 2.30pm, led by Mr Eric Barge. This will be a shortened service to allow Tabor members the opportunity to discuss future plans and events over a cup of tea or coffee.
