PCSOs Rob Hendra and Lana Washbourne have been supporting the safety efforts of St Mary’s School, Timsbury, by delivering safety barriers.

Staff at the school were concerned that parents and children, while trying to remain socially distanced, inadvertently found themselves squeezed into the road. This was unsafe for pedestrians and drivers alike. The temporary barriers will help to separate and create safe walkway for pedestrians.

The barriers were kindly loaned to the school by B&NES Council and it was acknowledged by all involved parties that although the end of the lockdown may be in sight, we are still not out of it yet. So, we still need to continue in our efforts to keep ourselves and others safe!
