THE Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton and Radstock welcomed Owain and Danielle from Sense UK as speakers to the meeting on Friday, March 6.
They gave a talk about how the club’s chosen charity for this year helps those who are deaf blind/ with multi-sensory impairment.
The charity was set up more than 70 years ago to support disabled people with complex needs from the first few weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood.
There are 1.6-million disabled people with complex needs in the UK.
The Club’s next event on Saturday, April 11, is raising money for Sense with a charity live music night at Chilcompton Village Hall.
