PAULTON Party in the Park returns on July 4 in Paulton Memorial Park.

The fun begins at 2pm until 9pm with entertainment by various live bands, dancers, twirlers along with vintage cars and tractors and a host of animals.

Catering outlets will be offering culinary delights including vegetarian and vegan food with the organisers excited to announce that The Spud Machine from George’s Garden will be joining the party with their baked potatoes.

The Alexandra Tea Ladies will be offering an assortments of home-made cakes along with tea, coffee and squash in the Village Hall with an ice cream van located near the stalls in the park.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: “There is something for everyone with many stalls to visit, some selling and some community support information stalls.

“We are delighted that the current Wessex Carnival Circuit and MSN Carnival Majorette Champions, Enigma Twirlers will be performing some of their fantastic routines for us.”

Crowd favourites Jamie Woodlands Black Belt Academy Demo Team will be appearing and Paulton Junior School Year 6 will be taking part for the first time with their Dance Umbrella performance.

“We are very grateful to both the Infant and Junior School for supporting our event.

“Have a go on the tombola or bottle stalls as these are run for our local charities, so all the money they make goes into their funds which helps them with all that they do.

“We are hoping for a great day and hope that everyone will make it a day to remember.

“If it’s hot and sunny, keep well hydrated and use sun protection.

“On behalf of the organising committee I take this opportunity to say a great big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and as this is our last year we hope to have a great final event.”
