THE members of Blagdon Rainbows had a wonderful time at Blagdon Village Fete.

They held a ‘Duck Sideshow’ which brought a lot of joy to visitors — both young and more mature.

A spokesperson said: “Our Duck Sideshows were well attended and we made lots more money for the primary school in The Gambia that we are supporting this year, thank you so much everyone who came along and supported.

“Sometimes though the biggest children are a little older than the Rainbows, this amazing couple had such a lovely time on first our Duck Buzzer Challenge and then the Duck Race. The lady’s absolute joy at beating her husband is wonderful to see.

“Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional!”
