WESTFIELD Primary School has reported its highest-ever Year 6 SATs results, with pupils achieving well above national averages across reading, writing, and maths.

This year, 94 per cent of pupils reached the expected standard in reading, 98 per cent in maths, and 90 per cent in writing, with 89 per cent achieving the expected standard across reading, writing, and maths combined — figures that exceed the national average.

Headteacher Mr Simon Mills praised the collective effort behind the success: "These results are the product of ambition, resilience, and collaboration.

“Our brilliant children gave it their all, our dedicated staff supported and encouraged them every step of the way, and our wonderful parents and carers kept the momentum going from home. It really has been a team effort!"
