As The Journal went to press on Tuesday, Chippenham Town were the visitors to Paulton Rovers, with the team’s Boxing Day fixture seeing Rovers travelling to Bideford. On 2nd January, Rovers bring in the New Year with a local derby when Frome Town come to Winterfield Road. Both of these matches will kick off at 3 p.m.
The Sunday XI do not play again until January and the under-18’s Somerset Floodlit Youth League at home to league leaders, Odd Down, was postponed last Thursday. The next U-18s game is Wednesday, 30th December at home to Radstock Town.
