PAULTON Rovers go into their last match of the season - away to title rivals Torpoint Athletic - looking to maintain their position at the top of the table.

Rovers will be assured of the championship if they beat the Cornish side and second placed Barnstaple Town lose or draw their last game away to struggling Oldland Abbotonians.

Former leaders Clevedon Town are out of the title race, having had six points deducted.

Saturday fixtures: Bridgwater United v Ivybridge Town, Brislington v Saltash United, Helston Athletic v Clevedon Town, Newquay AFC v Shepton Mallet, Oldland Abbotonians v Barnstaple Town, St Blazey v Wellington, Tropoint Athletic v Paulton Rovers.

Meanwhile, Welton Rovers end their season with an away game against Almondsbury, having retained their status in the first division some time ago. Almondsbury are 14th and Rovers 16th.
