RADSTOCK Town FC have been busy in the transfer market ahead of their first league game of the new season.
The team, who compete in the Jewson Western League Division One, announced six signings in the past week.
This includes the likes of striker Sam Fletcher, who joins from Wantage Town, centre back Louie Gurner from Chilcompton, and midfielder Danny Carpenter.
The return of defender Bill Tucker to Radstock was also announced, while another returning face includes The Miners’ former U18 captain Lewis Wheeler.
The last of the announced transfers in the past week was Tai Bewes, who joins the club from Bishops Lydeard.
Some of the new signings have also been making an impact at the club, with Bill Tucker having featured throughout the team’s pre season schedule and Danny Carpenter scoring in Radstock’s final pre season game, a 2-1 victory over Filton Athletic.
Radstock’s opening league game will be away at Longwell Green Sports on Saturday August 2.
