Farrington Park Seniors Christmas lunch was a fine affair with over 90 in attendance.

Seniors Captain Alan Smith thanked all those who have helped him during his year. Over 50 players were used for the friendly matches and forty attended his Captains Away day at Woodlake Park.

We would like to thank our invited guests Paul Harwood, Kevin Mortimer and Andy Grabham for accepting our invitation to the evening. Also the chefs, waitresses and bar staff who have looked after us so well throughout the year.

We are all saddened to hear of the loss of lady golfer Jean Sage who sadly passed away on the 19th December.

Jean lost her husband Wally many years ago and the presentation of the Wally Sage Trophy to this years winners was a very poignant moment for us all.

The Senior of the Year went to Mark Howell who has reduced his handicap by eight shots this year.
