On a cool, but sunny day, Farrington Park Seniors embarked on their mission to discover the secrets of ‘How to win a Tennessee Waltz’.
Unfortunately, too many players had already read the script and the top three teams all tied with identical scores, therefore bringing the countback ruling into play. Tales of duffed drives and short missed putts were aplenty.
1st Colin Robinson, Pete Maule and Richard Collier, 84 points, 2nd Mike Bradbury, Bob Baker and Geoff Skyrme, 84 points, 3rd Brian Brown, Paul Cains and Hugo Pike, 84 points, 4th Philip Michael, Terry Thatcher and Jim Farmer, 82 points, 5th Ham Ridene, David Brown and Bill Waddington 81 points.
Don’t forget our Seniors’ Open on Wednesday, 10th May with bacon rolls and coffee and lots of raffle prizes.
