The AGM was held last week and was extremely well attended – Chairman Bill Levell and his department heads reported that the club was in very good shape and many different projects were moving in the right direction.

Outgoing Captain Dean Hamilton recapped a successful but somewhat Covid-hit year, handed over the reins to our new Club Captain, Mike McKay, wishing him well for his year at the helm and then presented this season’s winners with their awards and trophies.

In the Senior Mens’ Two Man Texas Scramble, the competition nearly didn’t happen again after being cancelled due to fog earlier in the month, but thankfully was able to be played over twelve holes. Conditions were favourable with no wind and it stayed dry. Plenty of mud on the ball though but hopefully all 34 participants enjoyed the fun format.

In first place were Nick Carter and Tony Duffin, in second place on countback were Tony Harrison and Mike Magrath and third place was Mike Metcalfe and Gerald Tonkins.
