There was a close finish to the Groundsman’s Trophy with just one point separating the top three couples. In the end it was Frank Reeves and Malcolm Tucker who came out on top with 41 points. Just one point behind came Steve Brixey and George Thurston and Trigg and Bob Townsend, with the former pair claiming second place on countback.

There was no doubting the winner of this year’s Captain’s Trophy with Rex Wyatt dominating proceedings with 42 points. Chris Champion was second some three points behind with Nowell claiming third place with 38 points, beating off the challenge of Thurston on countback.
