Mendip Golf Club will be the venue hosting the Ladies South West Counties Golf Week between 4th and 8th July.
This very prestigious event provides the opportunity to see top class golf played at a local club, as teams from the six South West Counties play a series of team and individual matches during the week with the winning county then going forward to represent the South West in the National Finals later in the year.
Mendip member, Fran Davies, is the Somerset County Captain and on the playing side, Mendip will be represented by Gill Brown and Aimee Sawyer.
This event gives anyone locally, with any interest in golf, the chance to see the game played to a very high standard and spectators are most welcome to stroll around the delightful Mendip course to watch the action unfold. Matches start at 8.30 a.m. daily and at 8 a.m. on Friday.
