THE ladies Alliance A team at Mendip Golf Club have been busy with a fine 11-3 win away to Knowle.

They also played away to Burnham & Berrow, and it was great to have Aimee Sawyer making her debut and having a comfortable victory. Ellen Reakes was also in good form as was Carol King. Menip were happy with a 6-8 defeat to some strong opponents. In another away match at Henbury, Mendip sadly lost 13-1.

The Ladies CIL team played a match at home to Taunton & Pickeridge and unfortunately also lost 1.5 - 5.5.

Mendip were delighted to welcome their friends from Clevedon for a return fixture. Defending a 4 !/2 to 1 1/2 lead from the away leg, Mendip gained a fine 5 1/2 to 1/2 victory.

The Scratch Team played against Enmore Park and a resounding victory puts them in with a chance to win the Somerset Scratch League for the 2nd year running.
