Phil Moody dominated the April Medal competition in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club with an outstanding round of 70 (nett 58).

John Bendle continued his good form to finish second, with a nett 63, with Malcolm Tucker third, with a nett 64.

Two days later, the Seniors recorded an even better result when they completed a whitewash in their home match with Westbury. Underwood and Rowell finished 2 up in the opening encounter and there were convincing wins for Cheney and Reeves and Edgell and Williams with both pairings winning 5 and 4. Bendle and Button completed a 3 and 2 success, Blacker and Nowell ended 2 up and Tucker and Geoff Hallett completed the 6–0 victory with a 3 and 1 win in the final match.
