Mendip’s three-man Texas Scramble saw first place settled by countback with two teams scoring a net 57.
In first place came Simon Hunt/Jeremy Lawrence/Paul Taylor, leaving Joe Reilly/William Reilly/Zak Wheeler in second place. Third place, again after countback, were Adam Deverill/Dan Rowe/James White with 58 with Nigel Coleman/David Jukes/Tony Scott fourth.
There were three 59’s with the best coming from Dan Allen/Thomas Chapman/Julian Redpath.
The Ladies once again braved some horrid weather played a 9 hole qualifying stableford which was won by Elaine P Richardson with 15 points. There were then five ladies with 14 points which, after countback, left Margaret Hawker second, Maggie Brain third, Anne Collins fourth, Chris Down fifth and Jenny Merrett sixth.
Nearest the pin went to Tom Rowland.
The scheduled Seniors Competition was postponed due to the weather.
