2020 will be forever embedded in our minds as the year the world changed.
Fundraising for charities has been hit badly but they continue to need your help.
David Millington who was the Farrington Park Seniors Captain in 2020 chose The Grand Appeal as his chosen charity and yet despite the fact that so many fundraising events were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, an amazing £2000 was raised by members of the golf club.
The Grand Appeal has worked in partnership with the Bristol Children’s Hospital (BCH) since 1995, helping sick children and their families every step of the way.
A new purpose built building for BCH opened in April 2001 and the Prince of Wales performed the opening ceremony as fundraising reached an amazing £12m!
Bristol Children’s Hospital cares for over 100,000 patients each year. Babies, children and young adults with highly complex medical conditions are cared for around the clock by extraordinary staff. It is only with your help that they can be there when the patients need it most.
