The Ladies’ Spring Meeting and Carole Nicholson Cup took place on Sunday – the winners with 80 points were Philippa Gowen, Gill McGrath and Kathy Lane, in second place were Linda Wright, Tina Davies and Lindsay Sloman with 76 points and third were Sandra Heath, Phyl Lewison and Joan Stembridge on 72 points.

The Men’s April Tweedale Medal took place on a very pleasantly sunny day albeit with the course very wet in places – Aiden Guy was the overall winner with a nett 64 while the other divisional winners were Mike Metcalfe in Div 1 with a nett 67 and Mark Neighbour in Div 2 with a nett 69.

Club Night was won again by Neil Kite with a 12 hole score of 26 points In very testing weather.

The Men’s Seniors had a very creditable 3½-3½ draw at home against Clevedon.
