Tabor Independent Methodist Church
TABOR Independent Methodist Church has announced, with deep sadness, that it will close permanently on May 31, bringing 161 years of worship and community service to a close.
The building is to be sold, with plans for the ground floor to continue as Timsbury Child Care and the former Church space to become a community facility, ensuring the site remains in service to local people.
The Tabor Ringers have been given permission to use the premises for rehearsal until the end of July. As they would really like to continue as a group entertaining at local events and care homes another suitable rehearsal venue, with storage facilities, has to be found.
A final service will be held on May 31 at 3pm and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
The Trustees and Members express heartfelt thanks to all who have supported Tabor over the years.
