Our Minister led the morning worship on Peace Sunday. The lesson was taken from the book of Timothy entitled Instructions on Worship. God is always ready to listen to our prayers, however small or trivial they seem.

The Afternoon Teas held for Swallow were a great success and an amazing £573 was raised. The hall was full of folk enjoying one another's company and, of course, a fantastic tea.

If you use our hall during the week for your Yoga, Zumba or Tai Chi classes, why not pop through the other side of the glass doors into our worship area for a quiet moment, or browse the greetings cards, leaflets and, soon, Christmas cards and decorations.

Our Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, October 5 at 10.30am. The service will be led by Rev. Ian Souter. Lunch will be served in the hall following the service. Dried and tinned goods will be donated to the local Foodbank.

On their return after the summer break, the Tabor Ringers are planning their autumn/winter season with new music. We are appealing for new members, and now is the time to join as we shall all be learning together. We are a happy, friendly crew and do not take ourselves too seriously.

As well as entertaining local social groups, residential homes, the occasional church service and any event we are invited to attend, we are out to enjoy ourselves and have the pleasure of each other’s company and friendship.

Although rehearsals are held in Tabor, please don’t let this put you off from joining; you do not have to be a church member or a regular churchgoer, and no pressure is put on you to do so. There is also no need to read music, as we play by numbers. Rehearsals are on Monday afternoons between 2pm to 3pm.
