Second Paulton Brownies enjoyed a fabulous coronation party on Thursday 4th May to celebrate King Charles III becoming King.
The Brownies all made crowns and celebration wreaths and enjoyed a lovely tea. The week before, the children had made a card to send to the new King and Queen decorated in pictures of themselves.
The Brownies were lucky enough to have been gifted a coronation mug by Maxem Eyewear, who are based in Westfield, and went home with their mugs and some sweet treats from Treats With A Twist, as well as the official Girl Guiding coronation badge.
The Brownies would like to thank Maxem Eyewear for their kindness and to all those who helped fund the evening. The evening came to an end with Brownies and leaders renewing their Promise to serve the King.
