BOTH Paulton Bowls Club’s men’s and women’s teams have managed to keep up their winning form, the men succeeding at home in the County League against Frome Selwood, gaining eight points to maintain their position in the table.

In the men’s MSL away to a strong Purnell A team, Paulton were held to a draw on two rinks but were successful on one and took the match giving them ten points, while away at Norwest, they came away with a win on all rinks and twelve points to stay top.

The ladies away at Prattens, in the Wild league, won their match in splendid style.

Meanwhile, Dave Beard, Dave Yarlett from Paulton and Chris Ponting from Purnells played and won in the Winscombe Open Triples.
