The Pro Shop Stableford saw a remarkable best score of 48 points recorded by a new Junior Girl, 10-year-old Georgie Powell.

Georgie has been playing at Mendip as part of the Millfield Junior Coaching Group and has now joined the Club. Stephen Cox was second with 39 points, Tom Rowland was third with 38 on countback from Dean Lewer and Daniel Owen.

Nearest the Pin went to Ian Hall with Martyn Hibberd second.

Twelve couples played in the Mixed Social Golf event which was won by Clive Copp and Pippa Brown with 41 points. Lilian and David Peel were second with 38 points on countback from Susy Rudkin and Tony Logan.

The Ladies held their annual Christmas lunch and a full clubhouse enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by Steve and his team with plenty of bon homie evident. Lady Captain Aimee Sawyer led the proceedings and even had the ladies playing bingo at one stage!
